Austin Has a Variety of Jobs – Not all in One Sector
Unlike most cities, Austin has diversified the types of jobs. Whereas some cities focus the majority of their job growth on certain industries, Austin is strong in government jobs, high tech jobs, medical jobs and teaching jobs to name a few. The wide range of jobs available make it easier for families to relocate without have to sacrifice their careers. It’s also one of the reasons Austin’s job growth is so strong and sustainable.
