Sweetwater
Sweetwater is one of Lake Travis’ newest and fastest growing neighborhoods. Residents are immediately drawn to the spectacular amenity center with resort style community pool, clubhouse, splash pad, outdoor firepit, playscape and crushed granite walking trails that are head and shoulders above nearly every other neighborhood in Austin. Many have described Sweetwater as living in a resort. The HOA is extremely active, planning all sorts of activities to give residents an opportunity to meet one another. The energy efficient homes are another draw. Sweetwater’s builders have made a huge effort to make these homes as energy efficient as possible so as to keep them comfortable and keep utility costs down. If you like a Texas Hill Country setting near Lake Travis, Sweetwater is the place for you.

Belvedere also has some unique community amenities like a fishing pond, lazy river pool, 80 acre nature preserve, indoor clubhouse with full kitchen and grill and nature trails. Rocky Creek
With 300 acres of nature preserve, Rocky Creek has more open space than most neighborhoods in Austin and is the ideal neighborhood for someone looking for a new home big enough for a family in a hill country setting, but who doesn’t want an acre of land to maintain. Rocky Creek builders, Drees and Highland, build sensible floor plans that are attractive to today’s buyers with open spaces, two story family rooms, gourmet kitchens and covered patios with grills. Residents also enjoy a community pool, 5 miles of hike and bike trails and playground. The neighborhood was carefully planned to have minimal impact on the land, keeping the ponds, wildlife and views as much as possible.

Serene Hills
Serene Hills is another one of Lakeway’s new neighborhoods, but what makes this neighborhood unique is it’s Las Colinas Estates section, which features 2-2.5 acre lots and is the only Lake Travis neighborhood this close to 620 and 71 with lots this large. If 2.5 acres isn’t your thing, check out Los Senderos or La Campana, for lots that are more comparable to most master planned communities. One thing you’ll find across all sections of Serene Hills is quality construction that’s far from cookie cutter, which is what attracts most residents. With no neighborhood amenities, residents are encouraged to join local country clubs, which are only minutes away.
