Quarry Oaks was built in the 1980s and 1990s, making it one of Cedar Park’s oldest neighborhoods. Quarry Oaks homes sit on large (some near 1/2 acre) lots, which is part of the reason that makes this neighborhood so attractive. Some of the homes have been updated with finishes today’s buyers are looking for, but some are still in original condition making these an ideal investment for someone looking for a house with good bones on a big lot that they can remodel the way they want. Floor plans tend to be a little more sectioned off versus the open concept you see today, so if you’re looking for a layout that has separation, you might find it here. If you’re not, know that some of the homes that have been updated have also opened up their floor plans and removed some walls so they could create the more open concept that’s more popular today. There is no HOA in Quarry Oaks, making it very attractive for someone who doesn’t want that extra oversight. If you’re looking to live in Cedar Park, but don’t want a cookie cutter, master planned community and would prefer a better location and space between your neighbors, Quarry Oaks is a great place to start your home search.
