Silver Oak is a master planned community with townhomes and single family homes conveniently located in the heart of Cedar Park. The neighborhood was built by DR Horton, Grand Haven Homes, Giddens Homes and Kimball Hill Homes from 2003 to 2012. Silver Oak homes range in size from 1,740-4,148 square feet with the average being 2,774 square feet. Lots range from 0.14-0.35 acres, with the average being 0.21 acres. You’ll also find quite a few 3 car garages, and even some 2 car if that is your preference. Most of the homes are one stories, or one story and a half (with a bonus room and sometimes a bathroom upstairs), but there are still some two story homes. Silver Oak developers also did a great job at maintaining some green space, so you don’t just have house after house. There are some open spaces with no houses, which make for highly sought after homes that are in a neighborhood but have fewer neighbors. Townhomes in Silver Oak range from 1,590-2,467 square feet and most are 3 story units with 2 car garages. If you just want the ease of townhome living with minimal maintenance but can handle stairs, Silver Oak townhomes are ideal. They are newer with high end finishes and have garages, which is not always the case with condos. Silver Oak residents enjoy access to the two community pools (in neighboring Forest Oaks), playground, community center and jogging trails.
