Things to Do in Westfield
Lake Austin borders the South and West sides of Westfield, giving residents easy lake access. Residents are also in close proximity to two of the best parks in Austin. Eilers (Deep Eddy) Park is not only a Summertime getaway for many Westfield residents, but Austinites as well. The main reason is Deep Eddy Pool, which is the highlight of the park. Another great park near Westfield is Redbud Isle Park. Redbud Isle Park is in the middle of Lake Austin off Redbud Trail. It is a popular, leash free park for dogs and their owners. Golf in Westfield
The Lions Municipal Golf Course is in the Northwest corner of the Westfield Community. Lions “Muni” is a short but very playable course and serves as one of the most popular courses in Austin.
Places to Eat in Westfield
Living In Westfield gives you an easy commute to the amazing restaurants in the surrounding neighborhoods (Tarrytown, Old Enfield, Clarksville) as well as Downtown. But, one of the most laid back restaurants is right in your backyard. The Hula Hut offers spectacular views of Lake Austin while giving you a little taste of the Tropics. The restaurant is decked out with palm trees, tiki torches, bamboo walls, grass skirted bars and just a great place to chill out with a Mango Margarita.
Coffee in Westfield
Mozart’s Coffee Roasters is directly on Lake Austin and a great place to grab a cup of coffee, sit on the deck, do a little work or relax with a book.
