Only 20 miles from Downtown Austin, you can easily head into town when you want to enjoy dinner at one of your favorite restaurants. If you’re looking to stay closer to home and are craving Italian, try Trattoria Lissina. It has a great ambiance and great food. For barbecue, there is no better choice than the world famous Salt Lick Barbecue. Not only is the food great, but the grounds are beautiful. When you have guests in town, take them to the Duchman Family Winery.

Shopping near Woodland Estates can be done in either Dripping Springs or in Southwest Austin depending on where your day usually takes you. To pick up a few things, try Bubba’s Country Store at Highway 45 and 1826. If you’re looking to do a larger grocery shopping run, head to the H-E-B in Dripping Springs or in Escarpment Village in Circle C. Both are new stores with lots of selections. If you’re looking for Costco, you’ll find one of those in Southwest Austin off William Cannon and MoPac.
