The Chestnut neighborhood is one of the most actively changing neighborhoods in East Austin. Nearly every block has some construction taking place and we expect this to continue as the neighborhood still has a number of vacant, buildable lots. The good news for buyers and residents is that, with the construction, there are also plenty of choices in a variety of styles. Whether you’re looking for an older home that can be redone to your taste or move-in ready modern construction, Chestnut has both. The neighborhood is also home to Chestnut Community Park, a great spot for residents to enjoy picnic tables, BBQs and a splash pad. Scroll Down to Read Our Chestnut Neighborhood Guide.
