Kealing is an East Austin neighborhood located between Rosewood and Robertson Hill. While the area looks large on a map, nearly half of the area is taken up by Kealing Middle School, George Washington Carver Musesum, Kealing Park and some apartment complexes. The area with single-family homes is an older, established neighborhood, and most homes are single-story with carports or garages. There is some scattered new construction with garages. Kealing has some old Austin flavor, complete with a moontower. It is also within a quick bike ride of the Boggy Creek Greenbelt, Delores Duffie Recreation Center and the Doris Miller Auditorium.
