With its modern homes, a community-focused design, and unbeatable location near downtown Austin, it’s no wonder Park East is gaining so much attention from home buyers. Park East is a newer development by Lennar Homes (formerly CalAtlantic Homes) on East Riverside Drive built from 2016-2020. While it’s sold as one community, it is actually comprised of two HOAs, each with a unique style of home. The homes closest to East Riverside drive are townhomes (connected condo-style) with low-maintenance living. The interior homes and those on Frontier Valley are single family detached two-story homes. They have front entrances and garages in back with alley access. There are 4 floor plans to choose from, and while they are all smaller homes, they live much larger than they are. All four options have lots of storage and large closets. Our favorite is the Astoria, which has lovely high windows in the downstairs bedroom and an open floorplan that’s perfect for entertaining. All four have covered patios outside and dramatic master baths, most have walk-in showers. In terms of finishes and upgrades, they offer a standard package plus 3 upgrade options. The neighborhood will offer residents easy access to a new city-maintained park and private dog park. It also has easy access to 183 & Riverside and is less than 15 minutes to downtown. This Park East neighborhood guide will walk you through what living in Park East looks like, the homes you’ll find, the amenities offered, and why so many are choosing to call this neighborhood home.
