Gypsy Picnic – Trailer Food Festival – November 6th 11am-8pm
As a kick off to our Food Truck Fridays series, we’re excited to tell you about the first ever Gypsy Picnic.
What’s a Gypsy Picnic?
Well, we’re glad you asked! The Gypsy Picnic is a gathering of 30 of Austin’s best food trucks and trailers in one spot with live music, culminating with the ultimate trailer cook off. Stick around for the cook-off and you could help choose this year’s winners.
Mobile Food Vendor List
Some of Austin’s best mobile food vendors and food trucks from all over Austin will be there. Instead of combing the city for the next few months trying all 30 of them, why not take one day and try them all? Here is a list of trailers you can try:

That’s 30 Trucks…How Can I Try Them All?
Yeah, that’s what we thought…until we saw the sampler menu. Each truck will have a sampler item (in addition to their already popular menu items) so festival goers can sample the food and each item will be priced below $3. Bring a group if you want to try even more food and you can split the samplers!
The festival organizers have created a cool app where you can create your own Gypsy Picnic custom menu, print it out and bring it to the festival so you don’t miss any of the trucks you want to try.
Free Admission!
Admission to the Gypsy Picnic is free – which means you can spend even more on the tasty treats offered. And, bring all the bottled water you want.
Where is The Gypsy Picnic?
The Gypsy Picnic will be held at Auditorium Park, which is on W Riverside Drive between S Lamar and S 1st Street. There is no parking on site, so public transportation, bikes or a parking garage downtown would be your best bet.
When?
The 2010 Gypsy Picnic will take place on Saturday, November 6th from 11am – 8pm. Plenty of time to enjoy all three meals!
