Sun City Amenities
Living in Sun City is basically like being on a resort vacation every day of your life. Starting out at the Village Center, which is designed to resemble a campus, you’ll find the center of Sun City’s recreational and social facilities. Whether you like dancing, bocce ball, reading, wood working, crafts, working out, tennis, horseshoes, or pretty much any other activity you can imagine, you’ll find it there. Currently, a Village Center Expansion is in the works which will include a 60% increase in craft center space, 50% increase in woodshop space, 4 additional tennis courts (12 total), billiards facility, 2 more bocce courts, pickle ball courts, expanded library, softball field, 1 acre dog park, fishing pond and expansion to community gardens. In addition, there are also plans to build the Cowan Creek Amenity Complex which will include golf facilities, resort pool and spa, 6,000sqft covered pavilion, 1/4 mile walking track and 200 seat ampitheater. The multi purpose building will include indoor walking track, 6 multi-purpose rooms, Fitness Center and locker rooms, aerobics studio, golf pro shop, limited use kitchen, sunroom gathering areas and large outdoor porch. They are also adding an additional 8 miles of trails.
