Built in the mid 1980s, Turtle Bend is one of Georgetown’s more established neighborhoods off Bootys Crossing Road. Turtle Bend does not have an HOA, so residents do have more freedom to use their properties as they would like. You will see boats, RV’s, jet skis, old cars and campers parked in people’s driveways and even in some yards. Homes range in size from 1,582-3,568 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2-4 bathrooms and sit on large, 1/2 acre (on average) lots, so you will have some space to spread out. Trees are mature, so you’ll get privacy and shade. And, the neighborhood only consists of a few streets with no through access, so traffic is minimal. If you’re looking for an established neighborhood in Georgetown that feels remote but is really actually conveniently located, Turtle Bend is a great place to start your search.
