Addison brings a funky flare to neighborhoods near Austin airport. Developed by popular developer, Brookfield Residential, Addison will have 550 homes at build out. Building started in 2014 and continues today (2022). Homes range in size from 1,500-3,000sqft with 40’,50’ and 60’ lots. Addison is one of the closest neighborhoods to Austin airport and has a mix of traditional style and a modern style homes. Addison residents enjoy access to an impressive amenity center with rain gardens, community pool and lounge area, community center with restrooms and a kids’ playground.

Chernosky is one of the more established east Austin neighborhoods and has a mix of existing and new construction. As infilling becomes more and more popular, we’re starting to see the streets of Chernosky transformed from one story, 1,000sqft homes that are around 30-40 years old to two story, modern homes with funky colors. Chernosky is convenient to Riverside, 183 and 71, so it is the perfect neighborhood for someone looking for a newer home, but doesn’t want to live in a cookie cutter neighborhood. There is no HOA and therefore no HOA amenities in Chernosky, but there is a public swimming pool, greenbelt, park and sports fields within walking distance.

Developers say it will be the Circle C of Southeast Austin, so if you’re looking for that atmosphere and have a few years to wait while businesses open up, Easton Park is a great long term strategy.

Though you don’t have community amenities, you do have a great location and are within a short drive to parks and pools.
