Apple recently announced it has acquired land at Parmer Lane and McNeil to build a new, $1 billion campus in Austin. When it first opens, Apple’s new Austin campus is estimated it will bring 4,000 tech jobs to the area. That number could swell to nearly 15,000 tech jobs as the company expands. With so many tech jobs flooding the area, Apple will no doubt be looking to bring employees from outside the Austin area. If you find yourself being relocated to Austin to work at Apple and are confused about where you might live, you’ve come to the right place. Here, we’ll give you some ideas for where to find homes near the new Austin Apple campus.
Where Will the New Austin Apple Campus Be Located?
The new Austin Apple campus will be just about a mile north of Apple’s existing campus on the Parmer Lane tech corridor. Apple acquired land at Parmer Lane and McNeil Drive, marked with the red marker on the map below. Apple’s existing office is marked with a purple pushpin.
Working at Apple’s Existing Campus?
If you’re working at Apple’s original Austin campus on Riata Vista Circle, you’ll be able to live in the same house if you get transferred to the new campus as it is only a mile and half away.
