In a surprising turn of events, 4 of the 5 neighborhoods on our best new Austin communities in 2019 list are in Dripping Springs. Over the past year or so, Dripping Springs has seen an explosion of new, master planned communities. They are a unique blend of suburban, Hill Country with different style houses and stellar amenities. Plus, the school district is highly rated and it’s easy to get to Downtown Austin when you compare commute times from the northern suburbs. And, commercial development along 290 has also picked up, giving residents options that require less driving.
