The many restaurants, bars and shops on South Lamar Boulevard are all decked out in their holiday decorations. If you are heading north on South Lamar you get great views of lights from Downtown Austin. The homes in the SoLa neighborhood are mostly rentals, so you don’t get a lot of elaborate decorations in some other South Austin neighborhoods.
