Rough Hollow Amenities
Rough Hollow residents have access to some of the best amenities in the Austin area. And, with a Rough Life Director to plan events and classes, residents will always have something to do. The main amenity center, Highland Village, is the newest water-themed amenity center that gives residents a place to socialize, dine play and relax. This center features a lazy river, splash pad, kid’s pool, adult pool with swim-up bar, pavilion with a demonstration kitchen, village green and open air marketplace. The Rough Hollow Marina and Yacht Club offers a variety of concierge and seasonal valet services designed to simplify the yachting experience. You’ll also find a casual restaurant (that’s actually pretty good), state of the art fitness center, resort style negative edge pool, outdoor amphitheater, dual-car tram to the marina, fully-stocked ship’s shore, fuel pumps and a 4,000 sq ft pavilion overlooking the lake. The Fitness Center has two gyms overseen by Paul Holubets, CPT, a nationally certified personal trainer with ACE.

Things to Do in Rough Hollow Lakeway
Lakeway World of Tennis
Located at the entrance to Rough Hollow, Lakeway’s World of Tennis has both indoor and outdoor courts available for reservation, group and private lessons, tennis leagues and social tennis outings. Though built a few years back, the facility was recently renovated and is well maintained. Rates are reasonable and it’s conveniently located outside the Rough Hollow development.
Lakeway Airpark
A private, not for profit public use airport for residents and guests of Lakeway, Lakeway Airpark provides Rough Hollow residents and guests a convenient airport to land. To become a member, you must be a full time resident or own property in the Lake Travis ISD.
Lake Travis
Rough Hollow homes enjoy Lake Travis access through a boat ramp or directly from their slip at the Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina. Many Rough Hollow enjoy boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing and sunbathing on Lake Travis. You don’t need to own your own boat to enjoy all Lake Travis has to offer. There are plenty of boat rental places, like Lakeway Marina, that have plenty of inventory of boats for all lake activities.
Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina
With both social and yacht memberships available, Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina has something for every Rough Hollow resident. A resort style, negative edge pool, fitness center and cardio room, patio sun deck with lounge and The Grille restaurant are just a few of the amenities this club offers Rough Hollow residents.
Hike on the Several Miles of Nature Trails
As with many newer communities in Austin, Rough Hollow has incorporated several miles of nature trails throughout the community. Enjoy an afternoon or hike the trail as an alternative to a morning workout.

Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina
Most Rough Hollow residents take advantage of the Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina fitness center. There are two gyms – the main gym has state of the art weight machines, dumbells, boxing and functional training area and the cardio gym is a dedicated facility with every type of cardio machine.
Rough Hollow also has their own Certified Personal Trainer, Paul Holubets who has been featured in Los Angeles Magazine and the TV show Extra for being one of L.A.’s top trainers. Now Rough Hollow’s trainer, Paul teaches group boot camp as well as 1 on 1 personal training for Rough Hollow residents.
