Located on 500 acres of ranch land in north Leander, Bar W Ranch is one of Leander’s newest and more picturesque neighborhoods. Surrounding the South San Gabriel River, the neighborhood has more than a mile of river frontage with beautiful views, neighborhood parks and a system of hiking trails, making it ideal for someone who loves to be outside, but doesn’t want to go too far from home to enjoy it. At build out, the neighborhood will have around 1,500 homes, so it will be sizable. Builders include Brohn Homes, DR Horton Homes and Gehan Homes, so home buyers will have a range of floor plans and finish outs to choose from. You can expect to find shaker cabinets, wood tile floors, stone counters, decorative tile backsplashes and brushed nickel faucets. You’ll see a lot more grey and white color palettes versus the beiges and browns we saw ten years ago, giving homes a more modern look. Outside, most of the homes are brick and stone with composition shingle roofs, giving them a more traditional look, but they do have some accents to make the homes more architecturally appealing. Bar W Ranch homes range in size from 1,400-3,500 sq ft, providing options for buyers in all stages of life. Lots range in size from 0.112-0.446 acres, with the average size being 0.161 acres.
