If you’re a homebuyer seeking a friendly and vibrant neighborhood in the heart of Leander, Texas, Connellys Crossing might just be the perfect place for you. Known for its community charm, stylish homes, and abundant amenities, this neighborhood is an excellent choice for home buyers in all stages of life. The community was first developed by Oryx Development in 2013 and then Oryx sold the community to D.R. Horton to complete from 2015-2018. Driving through the neighborhood you will recognize some of the exterior elevations from other DR Horton communities with the exception of the rear entry garage plans, which are not common for this builder. Modest sized homes, with an average size of 1,926 square feet, are a mix of styles in one- and two-story floor plans with both rear and front-entry garages. There are few mature trees, but wood privacy fences help to provide separation. Outside you’ll see a lot of brick and stone and some, especially the rear facing garage plans, have front porches where you can set up a few chairs and enjoy the evenings. Inside the features are a little more basic compared to other homes in this price range, but that does keep the prices down. You will still see granite counters, covered back patios and open floor plans, which are some of the upgraded features we see in other communities, so there are some upgrades. The neighborhood also offers a playground & park with community grills. If you’re looking for a newer home, but don’t need all the bells and whistles, Connellys Crossing is a great place to start your search.
