One of Leander’s newest communities, Edgewood moved its first homeowners to the neighborhood in 2023 and building continues today (March 2024). The community is built exclusively by M/I Homes and provides new construction for someone who wants to live in Leander but have a little easier access to 35. Located off CR 175, residents can take either Leander Road or 1431 to 35 depending on traffic. Lots are reasonably sized and are perfect for someone who needs some yard space but would rather not have acreage. Lots range from 0.125-0.31 acres with the average lot size being 0.18 acres. Homes are on the larger side, starting at 2,100 square feet and going up to 4,200 square feet. With the larger floor plans, you’ll feel like the lots are smaller, especially if you’re next to a larger floor plan. Inside you can expect a higher end look with shaker cabinets, quartz or granite counters, upgraded fixtures, high end appliances, black cabinet handles (which are not often installed by builders) and luxury vinyl plank or engineered wood flooring. There is a greenbelt in the middle of the community, which provides a beautiful backdrop for home owners who don’t want to back to someone’s home.
