Built in the mid 1980s and then again in the mid 1990s to early 2000s, North Creek is one of Leander’s hidden gems if you’re looking for affordability. Homes are on the smaller side, with the average size being 1,500 square feet, but lots are on the larger side for homes in a neighborhood, with the average sitting around 1/5 of an acre. Many of the trees and landscaping in the neighborhood are mature, so you’ll get shade and privacy. There is no mandatory HOA in North Creek, which appeals to someone who doesn’t want the constant oversight from an HOA. Inside you can expect homes that are in original conditions and others (though fewer) that have been remodeled. And, conveniently located on the northwest corner of Hero Way and Bagdad Road, residents have easy access to commute.
