A private, gated community of 10-17 acre tracts, Palomino Ranch is one of the most highly sought after communities in Leander. Combine gated with the larger acreage tracts and you don’t find this combination too often anywhere in the Austin area. Homes are on the larger side, at over 4,000 square feet and were built in the mid 2000s. With this acreage, horses are welcome (hence the name) and have room for barns and space to roam. Outside you can expect a lot of stone and many one story floor plans. Inside, you’ll see a lot of similar styles to what you saw in the mid 2000s with a lot of browns, marble, beam ceilings, dark granite counters and cabinets and stone work inside as well. The neighborhood is small with less than 10 homes, so you’ll rarely see one come up for sale. It’s definitely a neighborhood where people buy and stay as it is very hard to duplicate all of the amenities you have and still be this close to Leander.
