Built in the mid-1990s to early 2000s, Post Oak Estates is a small neighborhood in south Leander that is often overlooked. Not because it should be overlooked, but there’s often not much by way or inventory. Post Oak Estates home owners tend to stay for quite a while once they buy into the neighborhood, which is a testament to how much residents like living there. As you drive down the street, you won’t see any sidewalks, but you will see well kept homes on one acre lots. Most of the driveways are circle driveways, giving a nice curb appeal. Mailboxes sit at the front of the lots, which as many of you who have cluster mailboxes, is a huge plus when it’s 100 degrees outside. Architecturally, you’ll see a lot of stone exteriors with composition style roofs. Yards have mature trees and are very well kept with professionally landscaped yards.
