Ridgmart Landing is one of Leander’s few neighborhoods with acreage estate sized lots (2.5-7.5 acres) where horses are allowed. Homes are on the larger side, with the median size being 3,116 square feet. Some are as small as 1,795 square feet and others as large as 5,850 square feet. Building occurred from the 1980s to the 2010s, so you’ll find a range of finishes and floor plans with some open concept and others that have more defined spaces. Though the neighborhood definitely has a country feel, its proximity to the 183 toll road makes it ideal for someone who wants rural like living, but who still needs to commute and have access to other city amenities. Some of the lots have Brushy Creek frontage, some are wooded and others are more open. Trees are mostly oaks and cedars so they they aren’t enormous but do provide some shade. There is no HOA in Ridgmar Landing, but there is an architectural committee that must approve building plans, which is perfect for someone who wants minimal oversight, but wants a neighborhood of architecturally interesting homes.
