Stewart Crossing is a newer community in Leander that started selling in Spring of 2016 and was built out in early 2020. Homes in Stewart Crossing were built by Meritage Homes, who is known for their energy efficient upgrades like spray-foam insulation and Energy Star appliances. Floor plans range in size from 1,562-3,018 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2-4 bathrooms. The median home size in Stewart Crossing is 2,266 square feet. Lots range in size from 0.13-0.35 acres with a median size of 0.14 acres. Outside you can expect brick and stone exteriors, with some homes having both. Architectural style is more traditional with composition, gable roofs. Residents enjoy access to a community pool and park, which is at 1521 Carlene Pruett St, right at the entrance to the community. The neighborhood is a bit elevated, so you will have some views from some of the houses, especially if they’re two stories. The community is located adjacent to Rouse High School and Wiley Middle, making it a great spot for parents of middle or high school aged kids. If you’re looking for a newer home, but don’t need brand new and want to keep your utility bills as low as possible, Stewart Crossing is a great place to start your search.
