Travisso is one of Leander’s much anticipated master planned communities that broke ground in 2014 and construction is still going on today (November 2022). Built adjacent to Crystal Falls and developed by the developer who was responsible for Steiner Ranch, it is no wonder Travisso is poised for explosive growth. Travisso won the 2019 award from the Austin-American Statesman for best amenities. These award winning amenities include a resort style community pool with 9 acre community center for events and social activities, tennis courts, fitness center, playscape, 350 acres of open Hill Country as well as hike and bike trails. Travisso also employs a full time Lifestyle Director to schedule and program events for homeowners to get to know one another. Unlike most master planned communities, Travisso is hilly, so you’ll get some pretty spectacular views from various points in the community. And, situated on the outskirts of Leander, Travisso residents really feel like they are getting away from it all without really being away from it all. Homes range in size from 1,777-6,911 square feet, with a median size of 3,204 square feet, have 2-6 bedrooms and 2-9 bathrooms. Travisso lots range from 0.08-1.35 acres, with a median size of 0.226 acres. Taylor Morrison developed the property, but were not the only builders. Drees, Grand Haven, Highland and Toll Brothers, as well as a few custom builders for one or two homes have all built in Travisso. Travisso Amenities
Travisso is set to build a 9 acre community center where residents can enjoy the park or tennis court, workout in the state of the art fitness center or swim in the resort-style pool and splash pad. The community center will be set along the hike and bike trails, so residents will have the opportunity to walk if they’d like. The Mediterranean style clubhouse will set atop Travisso Parkway and offer panoramic Hill Country views. The pavilion will have a fireplace, so it will be perfect for year round events.
