Purser Estates combines a country setting and city amenities as most of it is walkable to downtown Liberty Hill. You won’t find sidewalks in Purser Estates, but the neighborhood is not a through neighborhood, so traffic is minimal enough for you to be able to walk along the street to get to Main Street Social, or your favorite Liberty Hill hangout. Purser Estates homes are on the smaller side, ranging from 950-2,214 square feet, with the median being 1,364 square feet. Lots, on the other hand, are quite spacious with 1/2 – 3/4 acres per home site. Combine that with the smaller houses, and you will really get a sense of space in Purser Estates. Homes were built in the 1990s, so you’ll find more contemporary floor plans, though they will not be open concept. You will have walls to separate living spaces and though you might be able to see the living room from certain spots in the kitchen, it won’t be one large room like you see in homes built today. Inside you can expect some of the homes to be updated with granite counters, painted cabinets and stainless steel appliances and some to be in more original condition with laminate counters, wood paneling and brass fixtures. There is no HOA in Purser Estates, so if you’re looking for a neighborhood with minimal oversight, but don’t want to sacrifice proximity to city amenities, Purser Estates is a great place to start your search.
