Sitting on the banks of the South Fork San Gabriel River, some of the homes on the southwest side of the neighborhood have river frontage. The river is not always flowing, so it’s not the neighborhood for you if you need consistent, deep water. But, if you’re looking for a picturesque setting, Riverbend Oaks checks that box. Though not technically walkable because you have to walk along Highway 29, Riverbend Oaks residents can be downtown in less than 3 minutes, so if you want country living but still want to be able to visit your favorite drinking and dining spots, Riverbend Oaks might be for you. Lots range from 1-6.6 acres, so you’ll have space between your neighbors. Riverbend Oaks homes range from 1,507-5,643 square feet, with the median size being 2,320 square feet. The majority of the homes were built in the 1980s and 1990s, with some in the mid 2010s. There is no HOA in Riverbend Oaks, so if you need a little flexibility on how you use your lot or just want minimal oversight, Riverbend Oaks is a great place to start your search.
