With the population explosion in Austin, Manor has seen its rapid growth in the last few years. At the 2020 census, the population was 13,652 and now it’s likely at least 50% higher if not more. Builders are scooping up land to build more affordable housing for someone looking in the Austin area but can’t pay Austin prices. Still in Travis County and only 14 miles from Downtown Austin, Manor gives residents options for being closer to Austin than the north or south suburbs, which can be 45 minutes to an hour away during peak travel time. 290 and 130 give residents alternate routes when 35 is busy, so if you need to commute north or south, that’s easier from Manor too. And, with more infrastructure being built in Manor, including a Walmart Supercenter, residents have easier access to necessities. If you’re looking for affordability and want to be as close to Austin as you can, Manor is a great place to start your search. Scroll Down to Read Our Manor Neighborhood Guide.
