Caslano is located at the end of Quinlan Park Rd in Northwest Austin’s Steiner Ranch neighborhood. To get to Caslano, take 620 to Quinlan Park Road and go south. The Oasis is always a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy a sunset on Lake Travis. Ask to sit outside under their hundreds of umbrellas, even if its hot. They’ll move the umbrellas so you’ll be in the shade and you’ll get to take in the spectacular view.
Hudson’s on the Bend is another popular spot. They have a large selection of well paired foods and also feature half portions of their most popular entree’s for the light eaters, or those looking to enjoy an appetizer or dessert.
Grocery Shopping Near Caslano
The closest shopping is at the Market in Steiner Ranch Shopping Center. For a bigger shopping trip, most shop at HEB in Cedar Park just 10 minutes up the road.
Commuting From Caslano
Commuting from Caslano can be quite a challenge during rush hour. With only one way in and one way out of the neighborhood, it can take 10 plus minutes just to get on 620. The 620/2222 interchange, which connects to Austin’s north/south routes, 360 and MoPac does tend to back up in the mornings as well.
