Forest Creek is a master planned community centered around the popular (and public) Forest Creek Golf Club. Homes range in price from the low $400,000s to $2MM and were built by some of Austin’s top builders including Standard Pacific, Toll Brothers, David Weekley, Scott Felder, Taylor Morrison, Meritage, Legacy, Kimball Hill, Drees, DR Horton, Capital Pacific, Brighton and Bowen Family Homes. Forest Creek has about 1,200 homes and was built from the late 1990s to the mid 2000s. Given its range of construction, you’ll find several mini neighborhoods within Forest Creek that have similar styles of homes and architectural designs. The developers did a good job of interspersing greenbelt, so even if you’re not backing to the golf course, you can still find homes that look at green space versus another house. Plus, with many cul de sacs and dead end streets, through traffic is minimal, so you’ll often see residents enjoying time outside. Residents also enjoy access to the playground, rock wall, community pool, tennis courts and trails. The golf club has an 18 hole golf club, three tiered practice range, putting green, restaurant and event space.
