Built by Milburn Homes (now DR Horton Homes) in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Jester Farms is one of Round Rock’s more desirable neighborhoods. The majority of homes are between 1,400 and 1,900 with a few as small as 1,256 sqft and as large as 2,401 sqft. Inside you’ll find many of the homes have been updated so they look less cookie cutter than they did when they were first built. Floorplans are semi open, so you won’t have one big space for kitchen and living, but you will usually be able to see from the kitchen to the living room and vice versa. Outside you’ll find many mature trees, which is one of the reasons Jester Farms is so highly desirable. Another reason is the large greenbelt and pond on the north side of the neighborhood, giving residents a nature barrier to the typically very congested city. The HOA also maintains a community park and pool, so even though homes are not brand new, you’ll get the benefits of a brand new, master planned community. And, with a prime location off Sunrise Road between E Old Settlers and Tiger Trail, you have options for getting around town easily which comes in handy during rush hour and other busy times during the day.
