Built from 2003-2011, Mayfield Ranch was the first section of the Mayfield Ranch neighborhoods. Located off 1431 between Preserve at Stone Oak and Vista Oaks, Mayfield Ranch is ideal for the person who has to commute as the entrance to 35 is only a few miles away. With some homes almost 20 years old, you can expect the trees to have matured and the landscaping to have filled out. So, though homes look newer from their brick and stone facades, you won’t just look at house after house with no shrubbery to break it up. And, because homes were built some time ago, you will also get a larger lot, with most of them around 0.2 acres and some even as large as 0.4 acres. This gives extra space between homes than you’re used to seeing in new communities. Over the years builders have included DR Horton, David Weekley, Grand Haven, Meritage, Newmark and Standard Pacific, so you’ll get a variety of floor plans and finishes. Plus, with 20 years of home owners living there, you’ll see some who have upgraded to a more modern finish out, similar to what you’d see in a brand new home.
