One of Round Rock’s established neighborhoods off Sam Bass Road, the Woods is perfect for someone looking for value. Located in the same highly rated school districts as some of Round Rock’s more expensive neighborhoods, the Woods offers buyers a less expensive option with more manageable sized homes and lots. Built in the 1990s, many of the homes sit on 1/5 acre lots, which are large when you compare to the new neighborhoods of today, but small when you compare to some of the other neighborhoods it is surrounded by. Still, with home sizes, you won’t feel like you’re sitting in your neighbors yard when you’re in your yard. There is some space between homes, which is something many residents love. The majority of the homes are between 1,500 and 2,000 sq ft, with a few above and below that. You’ll find some homes in more original condition, ready for an update, and other homes that have already been fully updated. The neighborhood has sidewalks on both sides of the street, so it’s ideal for someone who likes to get out and walk.
