Because of the neighborhoods’ proximity to MoPac, it is easy to commute north and south. Traffic does bottleneck crossing the river on MoPac, but does dissipate quickly.

Bartons Bluff – Spyglass is a fairly small South Austin neighborhood wedged between Barton Creek Greenbelt, Zilker Park and MoPac so there isn’t too much activity in the actual neighborhood. However, Bartons Bluff – Spyglass has easy access to Westlake Hills and Downtown Austin.

Tacodeli
Most would agree, Tacodeli makes the best breakfast taco in Austin. And, if you live in Bartons Bluff – Spyglass, you can enjoy Tacodeli every single day! Located in the heart of Bartons Bluff – Spyglass, Tacodeli has a very extensive menu, so you’ll be sure to find a taco that pleases your taste buds!
Texas Land and Cattle
Though this is a chain, Texas Land and Cattle in Bartons Bluff – Spyglass is one of my favorite places for a steak. Not the quality of Austin Land and Cattle, Texas Land and Cattle comes at a much more reasonable price.
Where to Work Out – Gyms Near Bartons Bluff – Spyglass
For a close option, your best bet would running the trail at Barton Creek Greenbelt or Zilker Park. If you’re looking to travel a bit further for a gym, you should try Pure Fitness Austin in Downtown Austin or The Hills Fitness Center in Westlake Hills. If you prefer something more boot camp style, try Relentless Boot Camp.
