Besides all the great restaurant, clubs and bars on South Lamar Boulevard, you are also 10 minutes from the entertainment districts of downtown and 5 minutes from Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool and the hike and bike trails of the Greenbelt. If you want a soak up some history and do a little dancing, venture down to 3201 South Lamar Boulevard. The Broken Spoke is the last of the True Texas Dance Halls and a must do if you want to be a true Austinite. Get on the dance floor or sit back and enjoy some traditional country music played by “real” country musicians. There chicken fried steak is worth a trip as well.

Uchi is a contemporary Japanese Sushi restaurant combining seasonal local ingredients and quality seafood from around the world. It is also one of the most highly rated restaurants in Austin. It is definitely one of the mt unique dining experiences in Austin. Sazon is a small restaurant serving authentic and traditional Mexican food. It has been named as one f the 10 best Mexican restaurants in Austin. Black Sheep Lodge is a new South Austin bar and grill. This locally owned and operated bar is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the game, eat one of the best burgers in Austin and enjoy one of their 20 beers on tap.
