Bradshaw Crossing was one of the first master-planned communities built in the burgeoning Southeast section of Austin. The overall plan was to develop over 3,500 homes with the 400 acre Onion Creek Metro Park and Greenbelt at the centerpiece. Bradshaw Crossing is currently being developed by Lennar Homes, which broke ground in 2009. As of Spring 2014, the original section of Bradshaw Crossing is complete with a few inventory homes available for immediate move-in. The new section, which is located high up on the hill, just broke and had their first homes available by Summer 2014 and continue to have availability today (2022). Popularity of the neighborhood is growing because of it’s convenient location. Close to both I-35 and the 130/45 Toll Road, residents enjoy an easy commute to shopping/restaurants (Southpark Meadows), healthcare facilities (Kyle’s new hospital) and recreation (Onion Creek Golf Course, Mckinney Falls State Park).
