Circle C Alta Mira Homes
Homes in Circle C’s Alta Mira neighborhood were built from 2005-2012. Though homes are fairly new, you don’t get the feeling of a sterile, barren, new home community. When clearing the land, D.R. Horton did a great job keeping as much of the mature trees as possible, so residents can get the look of a mature neighborhood without the dated features of a 20 year old home.
Homes in Circle C Alta Mira are also surprisingly affordable considering its proximity to Downtown and the upscale amenities each home contains – think granite counter tops, hill country views, jetted tubs, high ceilings, landscaping and trees. This section of homes has several large cul-de-sac lots and many of the lots back to a green belt, so you don’t feel like you are right on top of your neighbor. Though you’ll find the majority of homes that have already been built have 2 stories, they do have some 1 story plans and plans they call 1 and a half story plans.
What’s a 1 and a Half Story Plan?
I asked the same question. The 1 and a half story plans are where all of the main living areas (master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room) are on the main level and the media room and extra bedrooms are upstairs. This is a perfect plan for a family with teenagers who want some separation or an older couple who can climb stairs now but are getting to that age where climbing stairs may pose a problem.

Built in 1992, Grey Rock Golf Course sits on 160 acres of Texas Hill Country real estate. Surrounded by many of the same live oak trees you’ll see in Circle C Alta Mira, the course is really something to see. Rated Austin’s best daily fee course in 2001, Grey Rock Golf Course has played host to several qualifiers as well as the Texas Women’s Amateur Championship.
