Highpointe is a gated community with 780 acres and will have more than 1,000 homes upon completion. Golf Near Highpointe
The golfers of Highpointe usually venture over to Grey Rock Golf Club for a round of golf. Grey Rock is located off of Hwy 45 and less than 10 miles from the Highpointe community. Even though there are no groceries stores right down the street from Highpointe, there are several places to go shopping within a short drive. The H-E-B in Dripping Springs is less than 9 miles away. You also have Walmart, Costco and Randalls within a 15 mile drive.

Things to Do Near Highpointe
Living in Highpointe, a lot of residents take advantage of the world class amenity center located within the community. The Highpointe community center has 4 pools, lighted tennis courts, a two story gym, hike and bike trails and barbecue areas. If you’re a music fan, the Nutty Brown Cafe and Amphitheater is the perfect place to listen to local talent or a world renowned artist. Looking to do a little shopping? The Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave is less than a 30 minute drive. If you need a little recreation, there is biking and skating at the Veloway or swimming at the Hamilton Pool Reserve.
Places to Eat Near Highpointe
There are plenty of great places to eat near Highpointe. You have the world famous barbecue at the original Salt Lick in Dripping Springs. Salt Lick is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy great barbecue and drinks with friends while listening to live music. If you need a lunch spot, Rolling in Thyme and Dough in Dripping Springs make a great sandwiches, soups and salads. They also have great bread and pastries. Flores Mexican Restaurantis the local restaurant for authentic Mexican Food. In the near future, a Trudy’s Tex Mex will be built just down the road from Highpointe on Hwy 290.
Where to Work Out – Gyms Near Highpointe
Although Highpointe has a tremendous 2 story gym inside the community amenity center, there are several full service gyms close to the community. Curves is a short drive from the community and a gym that is geared towards women. If you’re looking for a gym with a little bit of everything, Boudreaus’s Powerhouse Gym is a local favorite.
