One of Southwest Austin’s newer neighborhoods, Meridian is a great place for someone looking for a medium sized neighborhood not too far from the city or for someone who likes the location of Circle C, but not the enormity of it. Built in three sections from 2006-2014 by David Weekley, Brohn, Standard Pacific, Scott Felder, Newmark, Meritage and Wilshire Homes, Meridian is has plenty of different architectural styles with many lots backing to greenbelt and others that back to the beautiful Grey Rock Golf Course for a totally different feel. The main difference between the different sections are lot size. There is a 55 foot width section, a 70 foot width section and a 100 foot width section and generally, the bigger the lot, the most expensive the home. Meridian residents enjoy access to a community center with large swimming pool, playground, covered pavilion with BBQ and picnic tables and hike and bike trails. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a Southwest Austin neighborhood that is affordably priced with many upgrades and amenities, you should definitely check out Meridian. Meridian vs Circle C
Most buyers say they choose Meridian over Circle C because of the exceptional value Meridian offers. An intelligently laid-out community with great amenities and homes that are considerably less expensive than its neighbor, Circle C, it’s no wonder more residents are choosing Meridian over Circle C. Meridian’s location — next to the Grey Rock Golf Club and just minutes from Mopac off 45 also saves residents time during their commute. Even though it seems further distance wise, it can be a significant time savings from certain areas of Circle C that are far from one of the major arteries.
